1. Swayleo

Best for: 7-figure Shopify and DTC brands, whether they sell one-time products or subscriptions, that want senior people doing the work, not an account manager passing it along.

Swayleo is a Klaviyo email & SMS agency run by its founders, Arsia Sarlak and Carter Brink, who do the work themselves. We focus on retention that compounds: turning first-time buyers into second- and third-time buyers with flows and campaigns driven by customer data, then feeding A/B test results back into the playbook so each month builds on the last. For subscription brands, the same approach goes to keeping subscribers longer: cutting cancellations, winning back lapsed subscribers and recovering failed payments.

  • Services: automated flows, email & SMS campaigns, branded design, A/B testing, lead capture (sign-up forms), and Klaviyo setup.

  • Engagement models: a one-time foundations build, or ongoing end-to-end management. Both are custom-quoted after a strategy call.

  • Clients quoted on our site: HAUS, Out Yonder, HotelSlash and Numilk.

  • Honest trade-off: we’re a small, founder-led team, so we take on a limited number of brands. We’re not a fit if you need a 20-person department or paid media under the same roof.

How to choose a Klaviyo agency

  • Who actually does the work? Ask who writes, designs and builds your flows week to week. Founder-led shops put senior people on the work; larger agencies give you more hands and backup.

  • Do they measure retention, or just email revenue? Ask for repeat-purchase rate, time to second order, and cohort revenue over time — not open rates or Klaviyo-attributed revenue alone.

  • Do they fit your stage? Pick an agency whose typical client is your size. Several agencies above publish revenue ranges.

  • Do their channels match your model? Subscriptions need cancel flows and payment-failure recovery. Brands that sell non-consumables need cross-sells and win-backs.

  • Will they put scope and pricing in writing? Check what’s included, minimum terms and notice periods.

  • What does the partner badge actually mean? Klaviyo’s tiers mostly reflect the Klaviyo revenue an agency refers and manages, not client results (Sticky Digital’s explainer covers this well). Check the tier at connect.klaviyo.com and ask for case studies with the client named.

  • Is the work done in your own account? You should own your Klaviyo account, data and templates if you leave.

Quick Answers

Frequently

Asked Questions

How much does a Klaviyo agency cost?

Published retainers in this list run from about $3,500 to $5,500+ per month (Retention Control, Email Kong, The Email Marketers). Many agencies only quote after an audit or call.

Do I need an agency at seven figures?

Not always. If you have someone in-house with time to plan campaigns, keep flows current and run tests, you can do it yourself. Brands bring in an agency when nobody owns retention day to day.

What’s the difference between Klaviyo partner tiers?

  • Advisor track: for partners who refer clients to Klaviyo.

  • Master track (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Elite): for partners that manage client accounts, with tiers based mainly on the Klaviyo revenue they manage and refer.

See klaviyo.com/partners and connect.klaviyo.com.

How long until results?

Most agencies here aim to have core flows live in 2–4 weeks. Campaigns and testing then compound over the following months.

Email or SMS first?

Usually email flows first, because they’re cheaper per message and always on. Then add SMS for launches, back-in-stock alerts and time-sensitive offers.

How do I get customers to buy a second time?

Time post-purchase messages to how fast customers actually use the product. Cross-sell what fits the first purchase, make reordering one click, and track second-purchase rate by cohort. That compounding is the focus of every agency in this list, and it’s what Swayleo is built around.
